Hullo! Finally some time to sit and chat with you all. This past month has been crazy busy. The weather has gotten a lot better so mom and I have been running around. These days we walk everywhere: the grocery store, the park, out for breakfast, out for lunch, home shopping... we spend a lot of time outside. Anyway, this month I've learned and done tons of new stuff, so I'll jump right to it. Of course, as always on my month-versary we had a photo sess at home. This is my "really ma.. again? " face.
jajaja who am I kidding. I love it when people make faces at me while taking pictures, it really is a good time. Plus it means I get a lot of attention and people are talking talking talking to me.
The best thing that happened to me this month is an improvement in my balance. I can now stand for really long, as well as climbing on things! I spend a lot of my time crawling around the apartment finding stuff I want to explore and climb on. I grab things and look at them while I stand. The world really is a much better place when seeing it from above (standing).
I also discovered that books are not only for eating...they've got pages!! It's so cool! You can turn each page and new pictures drawings come up. I love reading, I spend a lot of time with my books. Sometimes if I get a bit nostalgic I chew them a bit. I also am learning to give kisses. I practice with mom, dad, my grandparents and my stuffed animals. I tried giving my sheep skin rug a morning kiss, but it wasn't too fun.
Well, as many of you know, I've started walking a bit with my little cart. It was a great gift I got from my south american grand parents. When they visited this past month we were busy doing some fun outdoors and shopping trips, but I'll leave that for another time. They taught me how to wave goodbye and hello. So between practicing all my new skills and my desire to explore, I keep myself busy.
Mom and I stay busy cleaning, dancing, and making faces. We also practice words. My favorites are dadadada, mamamama, ouououou, uuh uhh uhh, nenenene, bababa, bububu y tatatete. Papapa is cool..sometimes. Also, this month I've learned what being cranky is like...it's hard learning all these new things and I think some teeth want to come in, so some days I've been fussy. At least I get more hugs and cuddles during those days and that makes it better. Making faces and laughing does too.E
Mom says I'm in what she likes to call puppy phase. I like chewing things such as bottles, cables, furnitures, shoes, toys... but I also like exploring with my hands. Sometimes I'll be crawling towards something and they'll pick me up turn me around and put me far away from it. I just turn righ back around and crawl back jajaja I don't know if puppies do this too that's what she says this is puppy phase? But if they do and they're told No all the time I feel bad for them. That's something else they insist on teaching me. No, no, no, no this, no that... I don't know what they're trying to tell me, but honestly it doesn't sound too interesting.
This month, I've also tried lots of new foods. Combination veggies, fruits, and even chicken. I love food, but milk is still my favorite.
Well, I leave you guys with a picture of me looking at the view out of our apartment and being "contemplative/pensieve". Yea, I'm a big thinker too. I spend lots of time thinking. Anyway, if we don't talk before... I'll cya when I log on to tell you about my 9 month bday.
