Pictures

Because a picture is worth a thousand words.

Tis the season of fallen leaves, coloured trees, cinnamon spice everything and pumpkin everything else, tis the season for squash and all things apple. Days for soups and soups for days. Days of stews, pastas, pies and hot chocolate. Crisp fresh mornings, afternoons at the park, evening walks and movies before bedtime. Tis the best time of the year!?

Last Stop!

The second day we in Berlin we spent it at the museums. This album has pictures of museum island, the Berlin Cathedral, and the things I liked the most at the museums.

Training at Werder Bremen was set for a week. Luckily we were able stay for a second week in Europe and visit Berlin. It really was an unforgettable experience and we were completely fascinated with the city. I think we'll have to go back because although we had 3 full days it was just not enough to see everything we wanted to see.

Hamburg is only 75 miles away from Bremen, that's a 55 min train ride. On another of Justin's days off we decided to do a day trip to this historic city up north.

The first weekend we were in Germany we found out that Justin had two days off :) since we had Berlin planned for the next week we decided to take a quick trip to Amsterdam. And by quick I mean very very quick, we were there a total of 21hrs!

First stop of our trip: the German city of Bremen.

Some pictures of our place and some of the places I spend a lot of time at around our neighborhood. I hope I can take more pictures of our area in the upcoming weeks/months and upload them in the near future. For now, this is all I got :)

Saying goodbye to the summer and preparing for the fall, we saw the visit of our friend from California as an opportunity to take a day trip to Niagara Falls. Here are some pictures of our day and some of the historical and current facts learned about this beautiful place. (Ps. all information was obtained from our tour, informative brochures, and oficial websites for the Falls. But since this isn't a school project I don't feel like citing them all) I hope you enjoy the pictures!! Let me know what you think in the comments sections.

One of Toronto's most beautiful beaches, Scarborough Bluffs also known as "The Bluffs", is a beautiful park and beach on the East End of the city. A 20km of rock free sand and wide beaches make this place the perfect place to play sports, layout in the sun, jamming with friends, or simply reading a book. The cliffs that surround it are like a huge white wall that not only provides the beaches with privacy but is also has several trails for hiking and climbing to the top of the cliffs. The contrast between the cliffs' white/grey rocks, the green of the plants growing around, and the lake's crystalline blue water are breathtaking. We went to the bluffs on a Sunday afternoon thinking we'd spend an hour out walking and taking in the sun, we ended up spending at least two and a half hours out there!
