Pictures - Niagara Falls

Niagara Fallas is about 12,000 years old. They were formed when melting glaciers formed massive fresh-water lakes including lake Erie which ran downhill toward another Lake Ontario. The water rushing downhill carved out a river (Niagara River) and passed over a steep cliff like formation (the Niagara escarpment).
